Svetlana Gadzhieva Appointed to CalCPA Committee on Taxation

I'm honored to share that I've been appointed to the CalCPA Committee on Taxation.

The Committee on Taxation plays an important role in the accounting profession by helping provide CPAs with up-to-date guidance on tax laws, programs, and regulatory developments. Committee members contribute their expertise by reviewing tax legislation, analyzing regulatory changes, and sharing insights that support the professional community.

As part of its work, the committee maintains professional liaison and dialogue with key government agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, California Department of Tax and Fee Administration, and the California Employment Development Department.

Through this role, I'll be collaborating with fellow tax professionals to review proposed tax legislation, provide professional feedback, and help ensure that members of the accounting community stay informed about important regulatory developments.

Participation in the committee reflects my commitment to advancing the accounting profession and supporting the development of sound tax policy and professional guidance for practitioners.
